A Home for Our Community

We’re on a mission to build something permanent here in Erie.

Over the years, Compton’s Table has supported hundreds of queer and trans individuals through out mutual aid, Chat n’ Chills, True North, Open Mic nights, and community gatherings. But as long as we are renting our foundation is vulnerable.

It is time to secure our home and our future.

So, in October 2025, we launched a campaign asking for your support in helping us get there, and you answered. With the generosity of over 230 people, we crushed our original fundraising goal and raised over $75,000 in less than 2 months.

Your commitment makes it possible for us to purchase a forever home for Compton’s Table. A home where:

• Every queer person knows they belong

• Community can grow, lead, and organize together

• Pride is not just celebrated for one month but lived every day

Our journey to securing our home is just getting started as we decided how to best use our new space and identify potential buildings.

We’re looking forward to the journey ahead as we work together to create a brighter future for Erie’s queer and trans community.
